Refund policy
Last updated: 24 August 2026
First, the free trial
Pronuncia offers a 14-day trial with no card required. It is there so you can find out whether the Service works for you before paying anything. We recommend using it: speech recognition works better with some languages and accents than others, and the trial is the only reliable way to find out how it does with yours.
Refunds within the first 14 days
If you have paid and change your mind, we will refund you in full provided you ask within 14 calendar days of the charge. You do not need to give a reason.
This applies to the first purchase and to every renewal, monthly or yearly.
After 14 days
Past that point, amounts already charged are not refunded. You can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future renewals, and you will keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Even so, we look at exceptional situations case by case: a failure of the Service that stopped you using it, a duplicate charge, or a renewal you had no way to foresee. Write to us and we'll look into it.
If the Service doesn't work
If Pronuncia stops working because of a problem on our side and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, we will refund the proportional part of the period you were unable to use, regardless of the 14 days.
How to ask
Either route works:
- Write to masdemanu@gmail.com from your account email address.
- Or contact Paddle directly at paddle.net, who processed the charge. You will need the purchase email or the invoice reference.
We reply within 5 working days at the latest. Once a refund is approved, the money goes back to the same payment method; how long it takes to show on your statement is up to your bank, and is usually 5 to 10 working days.
Before you raise a chargeback
If you don't recognise a charge, write to us before going to your bank. Your statement shows Paddle and not "Pronuncia", and that is the single most common cause of confusion. Sorting it out by email is faster for you than a chargeback.
Your legal rights
This policy is in addition to your rights as a consumer and does not replace them. If you live in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you have a statutory right to cancel distance contracts; nothing above limits it.
Language
This policy is also published in Spanish for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, this English version prevails.
